Maria E. Guerra passed away on May 5, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 54.

Born to Mary Ann and Robert Guerra, Maria was raised in Simi Valley, California, and graduated from Simi Valley High School. Inspired by her Catholic faith, she dedicated her life to helping others and bringing joy to her community.

Maria made her home in Pahrump, Nevada, where she served the community for 26 years as a news commentator and for 23 years with WIC as a Nutrition and Lactation Counselor, earning multiple service awards. She also volunteered at the local food bank, organized community events, and was a beloved emcee at local gatherings.

Music was her passion, especially guitars, songwriting, and sharing laughter with others. Her warmth, humor, and bright spirit touched countless lives.

Maria is survived by her beloved partner Corey; her children Roxy and Fiancé Mike, Jacob and wife Bianca, Daniel and wife Mandy, and Rosie; and her sisters Angela and Tracy.

Burial services will be held Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Assumption Cemetery at 1380 Fitzgerald Rd, Simi Valley, CA.
